George Ross Obituary

George A. Ross, 65, of Mapleville, RI, passed away on March 28, 2020, at the Landmark Medical Center after a short illness. He was the husband of Charlene (Altomari) Ross. Born in Millville, MA, son of the late George H. Ross & Eleanor (Appelof) Middleton. George was a former resident of Uxbridge, MA, attending Uxbridge High School and a graduate of Mar Vista High School in CA. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing the guitar and making model cars. He loved family barbeques, where he could sing and dance and sit around the fire telling stories. He was in his element tinkering in the yard, watching the hummingbirds, planting vegetables and taking care of his flowers and fruit trees. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, George Ross Jr and his spouse Connie of West Grove, CA, Robert Ross and his spouse Deana of Bakersfield, CA, Jennifer Robertson and her spouse John of Douglas, MA, Melissa Beland and her spouse Dave of Harrisville, RI and Sarah Ross of Pascoag, RI, grandchildren, Raquel Ross, George Ross III, Hunter Feuti, Cassie Feuti, Chace Beland, Matthew Robertson, Ryan Robertson, Hayley Savoie and Madison Lavine, his siblings, Patricia Richardson and her spouse Elias of Uxbridge, MA, Linda Hartnett and her spouse Mike of Pascoag, RI, Alan Ross and his partner Barbara Tondreau of Mapleville, RI, Mark Ross and his spouse Gloria of Uxbridge, MA, Hilding Ross of Uxbridge, MA and Robert Middleton III of Pascoag, RI. Funeral services and burial will be held private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland.
