Georgette L. Stockwell, 60, of Woonsocket, passed away at Miriam Hospital Providence, on November 21, 2021. Born in Maine on July 10, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Spencer Churchill and Jacqueline Hemmer Rousseau. She was the longtime companion of Anthony Dutra.
She worked for CCL Custom Manufacturing as a manager for 15 years.
She is survived by her 3 children, Gerald Wetmore, Jamie Wetmore and Julia Harmon Jackson.
She was the sister of Christopher Churchill, Joseph Churchill, Suzanne Rockel, and the late Spencer Churchill, Jr.
Besides her children, she leaves behind her 8 grandchildren, Kailey, Jackson, Valorie, Jazlynn, Jacqueline, Za’Dayah, Lillie, and Jianna, and her Goddaughter, Crystal Desaulniers and many nieces and nephews.
Georgette was a loving mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was an avid New England Patriots fan and she loved cooking. Georgetts passion for it was obvious with every delicious meal she made.
Friends and Family are invited to attend calling hours Sunday, November 28, 2021, from 4:00 -7:00 PM at the Keene Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Road, North Smithfield, RI.
The Funeral will take place at the funeral home on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 8:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. AtSt. Joseph’s Church, 183 Sayles Ave.,, Pascoag, RI. Burial will follow in St. Theresa’s Cemetery on Ledoux Drive in Nasonville, RI.
