Gerald R. Constantineau, 81, of Burrillville, RI passed away at home, unexpectedly, on May 14, 2022. He was the son of the late Albert and Florence (Surprenant) Constantineau. He was the loving husband of the late Georgette (Lamoureux) Constantineau.
He is a Veteran of the United States Navy and worked at Ft. Devens in Ayer, MA for 30 years in the Department of Logistics. He was providing maintenance support to the U.S. Army and served as a supervisor prior to his retirement.
Gerry is survived by his children, Lisa Connelly and her husband Keith of West Greenwich, RI, Denise Roy and her companion Chris Rondeau of Smithfield, RI and the late Linda Frank and her fiancé Blake Staehr of DeLand, FL, and his eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Katelyn, Meagan, Marissa, Kayden, Madison, McKenzie, and Kenadee.
He is also survived by his sisters, Jeannette Wilkinson and her husband Robert of Sun Lakes, AZ, and Doris Thorpe and her husband Tyrus of Woonsocket, RI.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Constantineau.
Gerry enjoyed spending time and making memories with his family, researching his genealogy, repairing and rebuilding computers and he also enjoyed fishing and photography. He was known as the guy to see when you needed something fixed and his family referred to him as “Mr. Fix-it”.
Calling hours will be held at the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, RI on May 23, 2022, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. A funeral service will take place on May 24, 2022, at 9:00 AM at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Help Church in Mapleville, RI. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, MA.
