Gloria J. (Courtemanche) Arsenault

Gloria J. (Courtemanche), Arsenault, 78, a lifelong resident of Burrillville, passed away on December 5, 2021, with family by her side. Born January 3, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Courtemanche, and Jeanne D ’arc Gauthier She was the loving wife of the late Robert Arsenault.

Gloria was a 1961 graduate of Burrillville High School. She worked in the textile industry for 40 years and enjoyed horse racing, making puzzles, and taking scenic rides anywhere she could.

She is survived by her three children, Christine Arsenault, Robin Bishop, and Frank Bua,

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Peggy Taschereau,  Clarice “Candy” Phaneuf, Robert Courtemanche and Muriel Dearman. 

Besides her children, she leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Jason Lavoie, Mathew Bishop and Nicholas Libucha and his wife Jessica, and her 4 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held December 14, 2021, from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at the Keene Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on December 15, 2021, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Slatersville.
