Grace D Berthod

Grace D, Berthod, 95, of North Smithfield, RI passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Pascal and Loretta (Cote) Berthod.

Grace was a Woonsocket High School graduate of the class of 1946. She was the past president of St. Anthony’s Women’s Guild for several years with Grove St. PTA, Woonsocket. She worked as a receptionist for 22 years at United Restaurant Equipment Co. then worked at St. Antoine’s Residence for 7 years as an assistant to Supplies Manager. Later she worked part time for 6 years as a receptionist at Oakland Grove Health Care Center and then worked part time for 2 years at Avante Nursing Group in Inverness, Florida. She was a long-standing member of St. Anthony’s and St. Joseph’s Church in Woonsocket. Upon moving to Florida, she became a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Boca Raton, Florida. She was active on all Woonsocket High School Class Reunion committee for the Class of 1946.

Grace is survived by her children, Nancy Didio (Philip). Christine Langone (Rick), Gina Giuliano and Joseph Giuliano (Michelle).

Grace is also survived by her sixteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Tony DiGiorgio, Francis, Sam D., Louis D, Berthod and Armando J. DiGiorgio.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket, RI.

Calling hours will take place on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Wrentham Rd., Bellingham, MA.
