Herbert C. Griffith

Herbert C. Griffith, 90, of Pascoag, RI passed away peacefully at home with family by his side to be with his Savior on March 23, 2023. He was the husband of Lillian Asselin Bernard Griffith. He was the son of the late Edgar and Bessie (Eddy) Griffith.

He lived in Burrillville for most of his life. He worked in area textile mills.

Besides his wife,he is survived by his 4 children, Kathleen Piette of Blackstone, Annette Menard of Glendale, Joseph Griffith of Pawtucket, and Herbert Griffith, Jr. of Canada and his two stepchildren, Debra Bernard of North Providence and Eric Bernard of South Carolina. He also leaves behind his 3 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 step-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Albert “Buster” Eddy, Eugene, Elmer and Francis Griffith, his granddaughter, Tracy Lynn Griffith and his stepdaughter, Sheila Bernard.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland. A committal service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Herbert can be made to the Solid Rock Bible Baptist Church, Blackstone, MA.
