Jeanne E. (Hebert) Giguere

Jeanne (Hebert) Giguere, 89, passed away on March 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family. She was the daughter of the late Leon and Lillian (Recore) Hebert. After losing her mother at age 12, Jeanne’s greatest hope was to see her own children grow into adulthood—a hope she fulfilled with strength, resilience, and unwavering faith. Jeanne worked at A.T. Cross and Narragansett Knitting before retiring to spend more time with her family. Her faith was a constant source of comfort throughout her life. Known for her quick wit, warm laughter, and deep love for her family, she touched all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Dianne Lanctot and her partner, John Treanor; Gerard (Jerry) Giguere, Claire Lanctot and her husband, Michael, Elaine Sollecito and her husband, Robert, daughter-in-law, Diane Moniz and her sister, Gloria Vanmoerkerque. She was the proud grandmother of ten and great-grandmother of twelve. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, George A. Giguere, Sr., her son, George A. Giguere, Jr. and her siblings Alfred, Leon, William, Lillian, Joseph, George, Arthur, Julian, Ralph, Marcel, and Cecile. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Gone but never forgotten.
