Jeannette (Bourassa) George

Jeannette George, 97, of North Smithfield, RI, passed away on January 11, 2021, at the Hope Heath Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late John W. George. Born in Uxbridge, MA, daughter of the late Wilfred & Jennie (Beaulieu) Bourassa. Jeannette worked for the Amperex Co., for 25 years. She was a member of the North Smithfield Seniors at St. John’s Church and a lifelong member of the women’s auxiliary of the VFW. Jeannette is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Walter Bourassa, Doris Renaud and Alice Aguiar. Due to the Covid 19 virus restrictions services and burial in St. John’s Cemetery will be held private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket.
