Jeffery R. Pepler, 33, of Johnston, RI, passed away on August 30, 2020, at his residence. Born in Providence, he was the son of Kevin Pepler and Muriel (DeLuca) Pepper, Step Parents Jane Pepler and Gene Pepper. Jeffery was a Blackhawk helicopter mechanic for System Studies & Simutation at the 1109th Avcrad Tower Ave. in Groton, CT. He served as a specialist in the US Army and was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and toured in the Middle East. Jeff loved his family and all of his friends. He was an avid car enthusiasts and lived his life to the fullest. Besides his parents and step parents, he is survived by his sisters, Kelly Allan, Taryn Lewis, and step brother Patrick Pepper, paternal grandfather, Robert Pepler, maternal grandmother, Muriel H. (Gouin) DeLuca, aunts and uncles, Keith & Lisa Pepler, Michael Bruneault, Jeanne and Richard Stuckey, Paul and Maribel DeLuca, Christine DeLuca Arpin, Joseph DeLuca, Anne and Michael Frye, Kenneth Carnevale, cousins, Kelsey Pepler, Nicholas DeLuca, Myles McKenzie, Michael Frye III, Matthew Carnevale, and his best friend and forever brother, Tom Bastianelli, along with scores of friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Rosemond Dominique and his maternal grandfather, John DeLuca. Calling hours will be Friday, September 4, 2020, at the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Service with military honors will be at 1 Pm at the funeral home on Saturday September 5, 2020. Burial will be private. A Celebration of Jeff's life will be held on September 6th ,at the Lumber Camp, located at 2400 Hartford Ave., Johnston RI 02919.
