JoAnn (Finneran) Lavallee

JoAnn Lavallee, 80, of Burrillville, RI passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Providence, RI. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Bekel) Finneran. She was the loving wife of the late Arthur Lavallee, retired Lieutenant of the Rhode Island State Police.

She retired from the State of Rhode Island Credit Union where she was head teller. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed cooking and animals.

She is survived by her siblings; Joseph Finneran of San Antonio, TX, Carol Finneran of Dayville, CT and Maureen Ponton of Cumberland, RI.

She was preceded in death by her sibling; Geraldine Loomis twin of Joseph Finneran.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Help Church in Mapleville. Calling hours have been respectfully omitted.

Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Emerson Rd., Harrisville.
