Joan H. Ruebeck

Joan H. Ruebeck, of Glendale, RI passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 20, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, New York she was the daughter of the late Walter and Emma (Kline) Ruebeck. She was the loving and devoted wife of John J. Ruebeck. Joan was a homemaker for most of her life and in her later years she worked as an assembler for PolyTop retiring in 2001.

She enjoyed watching TV, knitting and quilting. Although her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Joan was the mother of four children, James and Joseph Ruebeck, Jeanine Robitson and her daughter-in-law, Linda Ruebeck. She was also mother of the late Jay W. Ruebeck.

She also leaves behind her four grandchildren, Jason, Amy and Mathew Ruebeck and Donald Robitson,  two great-grandchildren, Ricky and Aubrey.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1406 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI.

A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet, RI.
