John Jerominek Obituary

John R. Jerominek “Johnny,” 30, of Woonsocket, RI passed away unexpectedly at Rhode Island Hospital on September 11, 2022. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of John Jerominek, Jr. and the late Cynthia (Fontaine) Jerominek.

Johnny worked extremely hard furthering his education. He received an associate degree in Science for Building and Construction Design Technology from the New England Institute of Technology. He then continued his education at New England Institute of Technology receiving his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. While attending school he worked as an associate for Walmart Super Center in North Smithfield.

He loved music, computers, video gaming, camping, fishing, and all things construction. He was fascinated with history pod casts especially those relating to World War II. His greatest love was his family. The past few years Johnny would dress as Santa for the younger children at the family Christmas Eve gathering.

He is survived by his father, John and Stepmother, Angela Jerominek, a son, Nicholas, maternal grandparents, Marie and Ronald Masterson and step siblings, Harlee and Jace.

He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Becky, Cheryl, Jeff, Jason, Rick, Lisa, Dawn, Tami,and Kenny. Also a niece, Aliana, a nephew, Joshua and cousins, Nicole, Tayla, Tara, Ryan, Noah and many others.

Johnny was preceded in death by his loving mother, Cynthia “Cindy” (Fontaine) Jerominek and his sister, Justina “Stina” Jerominek. He loved and missed them so much. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Yolanda Peloquin.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. North Smithfield, RI.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 5-8:00 PM.  A Funeral Mass and burial will be held privately. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Johnny, can be made to the Bridgemark Addiction Recovery Services.
