John J. Richmond, 82, of North Smithfield, RI passed away peacefully at home with family by his side. Born in Providence, he was the son of Francis Richmond and Virginia (Spinella) Gilbert. He was the loving husband of Suzanne (Fleury) Richmond.
John worked for many years as a truck driver and teacher for Local 251. He enjoyed Golf and going to the casinos to play blackjack, but most of all he loved time spent with his family.
Besides his loving wife, Suzanne, he is survived by his children, Kandace and Holly Richmond. He also leaves behind his sister, Virginia Diaz.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, William, James and Nancy Richmond and Frances Thirtyacre.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, at 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield.
Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM with a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 10:00 AM.
Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI.
