June E. Rowan (Holubesko), 88, of Burrillville, RI passed away peacefully on January 08, 2024 at the Landmark Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Ann (Palkovich) Holubesko. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Rowan.
She worked many years as a secretary at PolyTop from where she retired. She was a Communicant and lifelong member of St. Theresa’s Church in Burrillville.
She is survived by her children, Edward P. Rowan and Deborah Wagner.
She also leaves behind her nine grandchildren; Carl D. Wagner Jr., Catherine A. Wagner, Christine B. Wagner, Jason E. Rowan, Nicholas C. Rowan, Dylan P. Rowan, Ian P. Rowan, Galadriel E. Rowan, and Benjamin D. Rowan, and her eleven great grandchildren: Owen M. Brogan, Justin J. Rowan Jr., Nicholas R. Rowan, Julianna N. Rowan, Zaylen P. Rowan, Jaxon H. Rowan, Mavenick K. Johnson, Theodore W. Rowan, Jazzlyn M. Zachas, Aria G. Wagner, and Raylyn G. Wagner.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Sutliff, her daughter, Jessica Lee Rowan, and her grandson, Justin J. Rowan.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland.
Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Her funeral will take place from the funeral home on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 9:00 AM with a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Theresa’s Church, 35 Dion Dr., Nasonville, RI. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery located on Ledoux Dr. Nasonville.
