Kathleen M. Latondress

September 15, 1927 ~ October 4, 2021 (age 94)


Kathleen M. Latondress 94, Formerly of Bradford Court in Pascoag passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2021, with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys (Lockwood) Hoar.  She was the loving wife of 61 years of the late Russell Latondress.

She was a 1945 graduate of Burrillville HS and Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School. She lived most of her life in Harrisville, before moving to Pascoag in 2003.

She was a secretary at St. Patrick’s Church for 20 years before retiring in 1992. She was a Trustee on the finance committee and a member of St. Patrick’s Rosary and Altar Society.

Kathleen was active with the Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts in her younger years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her beloved family and friends.

She was a devoted and loving mother describing her children as life’s best gift. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Cree and late husband William of Harrisville, Ann Sheets and husband Kevin of Bristol, Danny Latondress and wife Tina of Glocester, and the late Gregory Latondress and his wife Donna of Pascoag.

She leaves behind her four grandchildren, Kerri Datz, Danielle Sheets, Hannah Latondress, Kelsey Latondress and her great-grandson,Jakson Datz.

She is also survived by her sister, Colleen Lancaster and was preceded in death by her siblings, Raymond White and Ethelind Morris.

Calling hours will be Thursday ,October 7, 2021, from 4-7:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy,. Oakland. Her funeral will be held Friday, October 8, at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Harrisville. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.

In Lieu of Flowers, donations in Memory of Kathleen can be made to the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation or The American Cancer Society.
