Kevin R. Jenks

Kevin R. Jenks, 62, of Oakland, RI, passed away July 31, 2020, at his residence while surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of 41 years to Debra (Rush) Jenks. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of Viola (Borden) Jenks and the late Robert Jenks. Kevin was a firefighter and a EMT for the Portsmouth Fire Department and was an instructor coordinator for the NEEMT. He was a graduate of RI School of Electronics and also ran a small construction business. He was a volunteer fireman for the Pascoag Fire Department, joining at the age of 16. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his children, Sarah Keene, Matthew Jenks and Lauryn Jenks all of Burrillville, grandchildren, Aria and Clara and his beloved dog, Lois. He was preceded in death by his brother, Auren Jenks. Visitation will be held Saturday from 3-7 PM in the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI. Funeral services and burial will be private. The current social distancing guidelines will be implemented upon your arrival.
