Lance P. Beauchamp, 83, of North Smithfield, Rhode Island and Naples, Florida, passed away on July 26, 2026, at the Miriam Hospital in Providence.
Lance was born in Woonsocket, RI, the son of the late Alcee & Jenny (Jamar) Beauchamp. He was the devoted husband of 62 years to Yvette (Lebon) Beauchamp, who he lovingly referred to as “his flower”. Lance and Yvette spent time traveling throughout the United States and Europe. In their retirement they became snowbirds, living in Naples, Florida for most of the year.
Anyone who knew “Beau”, as he was fondly called, knew that he was a true car aficionado. He owned & operated the former Beau’s Auto Care in Woonsocket for many years, where his customers became friends. His love of automobiles extended to his leisure time. He was a long-time member of the British Motor Cars of New England. Watching football and cheering on the New England Patriots was one of Beau’s favorite pastimes. He also loved listening to music while playing the air guitar; singing when he knew the words and humming loudly when he didn't. Lance proudly served his country in the National Guard.
Besides his wife, Lance is survived by his beloved brother, Bruce Beauchamp and his wife Patricia; his dear cousin, Lynn Paul-Briggs; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Laura Neff and her husband, Wesley, Christopher Beauchamp and his wife, Annique, Mark Beauchamp and his wife, Debra, Arthur Beauchamp and his wife, Brandes, Bruce Beauchamp and his wife, Shannon, Sara Hiebner, Julia Techentin and her husband, Jeffrey, and Donald Beauchamp and his wife, Kyung-hwa. Beau had many treasured friends in Florida and Rhode Island, including “the kids”, Chuck and Lisa Doherty.
Calling hours will be held Thursday August 6, 2026, from 2PM until 4PM followed by a Funeral Service at 4PM in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Road, North Smithfield.
