In Loving Memory of Leo J. Richardson, Jr., 55, of Woonsocket, RI passed away at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket with loved ones by his side. Born and raised in Woonsocket, Leo was the beloved son of the late Leo J., Sr. and Annette (Palardy) Richardson and is survived by his loving girlfriend of many years, Pamela Laiweneek.
Leo’s passion for cooking led him through a vibrant career as a chef, most recently serving at CVS Corporation and Lincoln Country Club. His culinary journey also includes Mezza Luna Pizzeria, Gators Pub, Lindy’s Tavern and Uncle Ronnie’s Restaurant, where he was known not only for his skill in the kitchen but for his warm spirit and camaraderie.
A true New Englander at heart, Leo was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He found joy in bowling, golfing, the friendly competition in the pool league at Michaels Food & Spirits and the Pitch League at the Blackstone Polish American Citizen’s Club.
Leo is survived by his loving daughter, Carissa Bisanti and his siblings, Joann Goss and her husband Richard, Sr., Cheryl Mimande and her husband Donald Sr., Lori Jovin and her husband Kevin, Kimberley Couepel and her husband Russell, Rita Yuszczak and her husband Stephen and Eric Richardson and his wife Kristen.
He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, close friends and his cherished cat, Daisy.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene- Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, RI.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Funeral Home followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral will take place from the funeral home on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home at 11:30 AM as we bring Leo to his final resting place at St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, 310 Wrentham Road, Bellingham, MA concluding Leo's services with committal prayers in the chapel at 12:30 PM.

Leo will be remembered for his generous heart, his laughter and the warmth he brought to every room. His legacy lives on in the meals he shared, the games he played and the lives he touched.
