Lillian B. Lemoi (Desourdy), 90, of North Smithfield, RI passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025 at the St. Antoine Residence. Born in Oakland, RI she was the daughter of the late William and Loretta (Paul) Desourdy. She was the loving wife of 60 years to Richard Lemoi prior to his passing in 2016.
She was a resident of Oakland from 1960 until she moved with her growing family to North Smithfield in 2012.
She worked as a secretary for many years for the State of Rhode Island and then she worked as a secretary for the Zambarano Hospital in Pascoag, retiring in 1977.
She enjoyed taking ceramic classes, but her greatest joy and happiness was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Susan Hall and her husband Richard of Harrisville, and Michael Lemoi and his wife Kim of Dover, NH. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Katie Hagan of Pascoag and Jackie Lemoi of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Hagan.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM with a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Emerson Rd., Pascoag.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lillian can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
