Louisette T. (Baril) Caron

Louisette T. Caron (Baril), 96, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Andre Caron of North Smithfield, a daughter, Diane Marshall of North Smithfield, her son, Normand Caron of Uxbridge, MA and daughter-in-law, Christine Caron of Woonsocket, RI.

Louisette is survived by her children, Roger Caron of North Smithfield, Denis Caron of Uxbridge, Paul Caron of Woonsocket, Marc Caron and his wife, Thelma of Burrillville, Paulette Dubois and her husband Donald of Burrillville, also a son-in-law, Cliff Marshall of Wells, ME, and daughter-in-law, Gabrielle Caron of Uxbridge. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren,and four great-great grandchildren.

Born in Québec, Canada on April 16, 1926, Louisette was the daughter of the late Achille and Catherine Baril and the sister of the late Raymond Baril, Renée Hull and Françoise Baril.

A devout Catholic, Louisette enjoyed spending time with her family and attending mass. Her hobbies included playing Yahtzee, completing jigsaw puzzles and solving Wheel of Fortune puzzles.

Visiting hours will be on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 9 -10:00 AM at the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Road, N. Smithfield, RI followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church Street, Slatersville, RI. Interment will be at St. John’s Cemetery, Slatersville, RI.
