Mary Crisafulli, age 96, of Lincoln formerly of North Smithfield, RI, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at the Holiday Retirement Home in Manville. Born in North Smithfield, she was the daughter of the late Aristides and Emilia (Paes) Cabral and the devoted wife of 67 years to the late Andrew Crisafulli.
Mary dedicated 20 years as a salesclerk with Kresge’s Department Store, followed by twenty years at Miller Electric. She later provided care for nuns at St. Antoine Residence before transitioning to housekeeping upon the opening of the new building, retiring at the age of 77.
An active member of her community, Mary served as secretary of the St. John’s Ladies Guild, belonged to the Quatro Sons of Italy Lodge 1414, and held the position of vice president at the North Smithfield Senior Citizens Center. Her passions included cooking, arts and crafts, gardening and visiting residents in local nursing homes.
She is survived by her caregiver and niece, Anne Marie Durand, eight godchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Cabral.
Arrangements are under the care of Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd. North Smithfield, RI. Calling hours will take place Monday, September 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral will proceed from the funeral home on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Johns Church, 63 Church St., Slaterville, RI, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Parish Cemetery.
