Maurice R Laliberte

Maurice R. Laliberte, 92, of Woonsocket RI passed away April 29, 2022, peacefully at home with his family by his side. Born in Montreal, Canada he was the son of the late Romeo and Ida (Gamelin) Laliberte. He was the loving husband of 67 years to the late Gabrielle (Valois) Laliberte.

He was a retired veteran of the United States Army and the US Army Reserve, having served his country honorably and proudly for over 21 years.

He was a retired postal worker for the USPS.

He was the devoted and loving father of Michael P. Laliberte, Gail M. Bourcier, Dennis Laliberte, and Frances A. Landry. He was preceded in death by his daughter Janet Toporoski.

He was the brother of Doris Lemme. Loving grandfather to his 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. he is also survived his nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. Calling hours will be held on May 7, 2022 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. A Funeral Service with military honors will take place at the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private.
