Michael R. Austin

Michael R. Austin, 75, died peacefully May 27, 2026, in Greenville surrounded by family.

He was born in Pawtucket, RI, son of the late Henry & June (Dexter) Austin. He was the beloved husband of Linda P. (Ursillo) Austin.

Michael worked for Electric Boat for forty years. He proudly served his country serving in the United States Army from 1970 until 1973.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his son, Neil Austin of Pascoag and stepchildren, Pasco Restante of No. Providence and Christina Boutin of Wareham, MA.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Austin.

Per Michael’s request all his services are private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, RI.
