Michael L. Latendresse, 70, of Burrillville passed away at home on February 7, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Providence, he was the son of Elaine (Lee) Latendresse and the late Norman Latendresse.
Michael was a Florida resident for 30 years before returning to his home in Burrillville where he lived out the remainder of his life.
He was a long-haul truck driver for Sawyer Trucking Inc. prior to his retirement. Michael enjoyed taking off on the open road riding his Harley Davidson. He enjoyed is many fishing excursions while residing in Florida. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving his country during peacetime. He also served in the RI National Guard and the US Army Reserve.
Besides his mother, he was survived by his son, Michael and a sister, Kristine Croft. He was also the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his siblings Jeffery, Glenn, and Scott Latendresse.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, Harrisville on February 22, 2022, at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael can be made to the American Cancer Society.
