Nancy L. (Crisafulli) Rogers

Nancy Lena (Crisafulli) Rogers, of Harrisville, RI passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 10. She was surrounded by her loving family while she drifted into eternity. Nancy was the daughter of Anthony J. and Julia A. (Cyganowski) Crisafulli. She is survived by her three siblings; Ramona Mancini and her husband George Mancini, Paul Crisafulli and his wife Leslie Rehak and Donna Martel and her husband Dennis Martel.

Nancy was a mother to three incredible children: Colleen Baker, William Rogers, his wife Stephanie and Joseph Rogers and his wife, Stephanie. She had three grandchildren, Alex Rogers, Morgan Baker, and Henry Rogers, while also taking part in the lives of Lesleigh, Omar, Orlando, Mark and Karizma. Nancy took delight in having the most amazing nieces: Christine, Andrea, Jennifer and Julia.

Nancy received her Associate Degree in Nursing from CCRI and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from Rhode Island College. The bulk of her nursing career was spent in the ICU, caring for the sickest of the sick. During that time, she advocated for each and every patient, and never backed down from fighting for what she believed to be right. Nancy was one of the most driven, caring, and strong people you would ever encounter. She loved her family deeply and fiercely and felt the moments that mattered were those spent together. She loved the ocean and travelled at every opportunity. Nancy saw London, Rome and Paris, as well as journeying to India for her niece’s wedding. For her family, nothing was too far.

Nancy will be profoundly missed by everyone. She had a way of touching lives, and throughout her treatment, nurses and doctors quickly became attached to her kindness and strength. “There’s just something about Nancy.”

Visiting hours will be held on March 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Keene-Brown Funeral Home in North Smithfield, followed by a short time of remembrance. Interment will be held directly after at St Charles Cemetery, Farm St, Blackstone, MA.
