Norman P. Schobel

Norman P. Schobel, 65, of Mapleville, RI, passed away on December 22, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of 43 years to Brenda (Proulx) Schobel. He was born in Putnam, CT, son of the late Edward & Norita (Smith) Schobel. Norman worked for Material Sand & Gravel Co., for 35 years, he enjoyed working and his yard and loved his animals. Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter, Kerri Schobel, grandchildren, Brady, Mila and Jaxson and siblings, Edward Schobel, Linda Michaelman, Barbara Daniels, Cynthia Guilmette, Kenneth Schobel and Pamela Correira. He was preceded in death by his son, Austin Schobel and brothers, Gene Scobel Sr. and Clifford Schobel. Due to the Covid virus funeral services and burial will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home in North Smithfield.
