Olive Savard Obituary

Olive M. Savard 93, wife of the late Raymond H. Savard of Woonsocket and North Smithfield, continued on her journey from this life into heaven on August 1, 2024 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disorder. She was the daughter of the late Raoul and Jeannette Berard of Woonsocket. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Maricienne Berard, Sr., Rachel (Bernadette ) Berard, RJM, Agnes Paquin and Lorraine Agos.

For the past five years she resided with an incredible, caring team of caregivers and residents at St. Antoine Residences in the Special Care Unit. She was a big fan of word search puzzles and was very competitive when she engaged in games provided by the Activities team. She was a graduate of the former St. Clare High School, was a homemaker and worked in Woonsocket and North Smithfield during her career.

She leaves a sister, Jeannine Moussas of California, two daughters, Paulette Hamilton of North Smithfield and Claudine Charron of Jamestown, four grandchildren, Theron Hamilton, (Melissa), Dalton Kell, Olivia Tikoian and Sophia Tikoian and two great-grandchildren, Jagger and Aszara Hamilton and many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins.

We will miss her contagious laugh, her quick wit and her willingness to push the envelope a bit.

Her services, under the direction of Keene-Brown Funeral Home in North Smithfield, will include a Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church in Slatersville on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 11 am, followed by a private burial service in Mt. St Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Pawtucket.

In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in her name to the Special Care Unit Activities Department at St. Antoine Residences, 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield, RI 02896.
