Paul F. Davey

Paul F. Davey, 67, of Harrisville, RI passed away on October 13, 2023, at home.

Born in Providence, Paul was the son of the late John P. and Nancy E. (Hill) Davey. He lived in Harrisville for the last 40 years. He graduated from St. Philip School in Greenville and Smithfield High School.
 

Paul retired after 35 years with the United Parcel Service. He enjoyed living part of the year in Florida and spending time with his friends there. His favorite hobby was purchasing and refurbishing classic cars and race cars winning him several awards at car shows.

Paul leaves behind his beloved brothers and sisters, Michael Davey of Harrisville, Tina Bauver and her husband David of Winchendon, MA., Mary Ann Hughes of Cumberland, Catherine Furtado and her husband Mario of West Warwick, Jack Davey and his wife Mary Ellen of Smithfield, Peter Davey and his wife Kathy of Coventry, Jim Davey and his wife Connie of North Smithfield, Tricia Davey-Anthony and her husband David of Smithfield, Frank Davey and his wife Linda of Smithfield, and Chris Davey and his wife Tammy of Weathersfield, VT. Paul also leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Raymund T. Davey.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI.

Visitation will be held in the funeral home on October 21, 2023, from 9 -10:30 AM. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, 45 Main St., Harrisville, RI. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery Emerson Rd. Pascoag.
