Pauline I. (St. Onge) Mathewson

Pauline I. Mathewson (St. Onge), 89, of North Smithfield, RI passed away peacefully on March 26, 2024. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Donalda (Marquis) St. Onge. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell Mathewson.

Pauline had worked as a textile mender as well as a Med Tech at the Hospice St. Antoine Residence. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed playing Bingo and taking bus trips to Foxwoods.

She is survived by her children; Kathleen Feldman, Susan Karn, Jane Allen, and Jeffrey Mathewson and her 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy J. Mathewson and her siblings, Therese Bruyere and Robert St. Onge.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield.

Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on April 2. 2024 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 1409 Park Avenue, Woonsocket, RI. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, MA.
