Philip Beaulieu Obituary

Philip J. Beaulieu, 87, of North Smithfield, RI passed away peacefully at the Hope Hospice Center in Providence with his loving family by his side. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Louis and Marie (Godard) Beaulieu.

Philip was a Veteran of the United States Army. He also worked for Valley Gas Company in Cumberland as a meter reader for many years prior to his retirement. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus and  the VFW.  He especially enjoyed traveling and all family events. Philip loved meeting new people and was never hesitant to stand up and sing for all. He wore a smile most everyday and was ready to help in any way. As Philip would often say “I may not be the best, but I am hard to beat!”  He lived life to the fullest.  He will be loved and remembered by all.

He is survived by his stepchildren, Deborah Beausoleil and Diane Vadenais. Five grandchildren, Stacey Bacon, Alicia Anderson, Peter Bacon, Ashley Burrell, and Brian Bacon. He also leaves behind his sisters, Julie (Beaulieu) Labonte and Germaine (Beaulieu) Meizoso, along with many nieces and nephews and loving friends.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph Beaulieu and Jeannie (Beaulieu) LaMountain.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, RI.
