Richard Raoul Tousignant

Richard R. Tousignant, 86, passed away on October 27, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital due to injuries from a fall. He was the son of the late Loretta (Allard) and Henri Tousignant of
Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

He served in the army national guard from 1956 to 1959.

He was the loving husband of the late Catherine M. (Proteau) Tousignant.

He enjoyed camping with his family. He also loved walking, playing cards, and spending time with his friends.

Richard is predeceased by his sisters Constance “Connie” Grady of Cumberland, RI, Jeanne Tousignant and Susan Desautels of Woonsocket, RI, his brother Robert Tousignant of
Woonsocket, RI, and his stepson Jerome Brooks of CA.

Richard is survived by his sister Jeannine Mattair, his eight stepchildren Linda Pendergast and Thurla Belise of N. Smithfield, RI, Harry Thompson, Linwood Brooks, Clifford Brooks, and Tammy Richardson all of Woonsocket, RI, Suzanne Atteridge of Lake Wales, FL, Timothy Brooks of Douglas, MA, and his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted the the Egidio DiPardo & Son's Funeral Home

Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxborough, MA will respectfully be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a tree be planted in Memory of RIchard.
