Richard A. Wilson 69 of Cranston passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024. Born in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Kenneth Wilson and Ruth (Audette) Long, Stepson of the late
James Long.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in Afghanistan, He received his honorable discharge after proudly serving over 20 years.
Richard was a devoted family man who was always there to help in any way he could, he especially loved spending time with the children of the family.
He is survived his siblings John Wilson and his wife Sandra, Robert Wilson, and Kenneth Wilson. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews Sonya Wilson and her husband Thomas, Sally Lopes and her husband Rudi, Jessica McDaniel, Timothy Wilson, and James Wilson.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. North Smithfield.
Military Honors were held privately in the Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery Exeter, RI on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11:30 AM.
