Rita F. (Nault) Glaude

Rita F. Glaude, 74, of North Smithfield, RI passed away on October 10, 2019, at the Rhode Island Hospital. She was the loving wife of 52 years to George H. Glaude. Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Omer & Rita (Savaria) Nault. Rita was a bus monitor for special needs students in North Smithfield. She was a member of Marriage Encounters and was a devoted catholic, she was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Woonsocket and St. John's Church in Slatersville where she also taught CCD. She enjoyed camping, the Mohawk Trail and doing crafts. Rita helped to raise and baby sit her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren even during her illness. Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Christine Glaude, John Glaude and his wife Judy, Joseph Glaude and his wife Tammy and Scott Glaude and his wife Angela, 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Doris Beaulieu, Rene Nault, Jeanne Clancy, Helen Sawyer, Raymond Nault, Maurice Nault, Lucille Verhoest, Leo Nault and Nancy Glaude. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Muriel Ridolfi and Roger Nault. Her funeral service will be held Saturday October 26, 2019 at 2 PM in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held the same day from 12- 2 PM and 5-7 PM.
