Robert M. Mumford

Robert M. Mumford, 54, of Woonsocket, RI passed away on February 9, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Providence, son of Marilynn A. (Porter) Soucy and her husband Aurelien and the late Benjamin Mumford. Robert was employed as a long hauler truck driver working for several companies. He enjoyed working on his car and truck. At one point, he built a motor in his mother’s backyard. Besides his mother and stepfather, he is survived by his brother, Benjamin Mumford and his wife Wendy, step siblings, Laurie A. Villard and her husband David, Michael Soucy and Kelly Soucy and his dog Java. He was preceded in death by siblings, Pamela A. Mumford and Lloyd E. Mumford, Sr. Funeral services and burial will be held privately. Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield.
