Robert K. Trinque

Robert K. Trinque, 86, of Uncasville, CT passed away on February 08, 2023 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in New London, CT. Born in Chepachet, he was the son of the late Louis and Gertrude (Potter) Trinque.

He was the loving and devoted husband of Jeanine (Maynard) Trinque for a wonderful 55 years.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force Veteran, having served during the Vietnam era.  He later received his master’s degree at Connecticut College and was an electronics teacher at the Ledyard High School in CT. He was also on The Board of Directors at Core Plus Credit Union in Norwich, CT.

He received his Pilot’s license and loved flying airplanes and took part in model plane competitions. He also was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his siblings, Leonard “Joe” and Donald Trinque.

He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Louis “Fuzzy” Trinque.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, RI.

Calling hours will be held on February 16, 2023 from 8:30 -10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church, Pascoag, RI will be held the same day at 11:00 AM. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, RI.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society..
