Robert A. Valenti, Sr.

Robert A. Valenti, Sr., 79, of Burrillville, RI passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025 in Burrillville, surrounded by family. Born in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late Santos and Diana (DeQuattro) Valenti. He was the loving and devoted husband to Dorine (Welch) Valenti for 59 Years.

Robert was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked as an Iron Worker for the Local 12 Albany for 28 years and later worked as a manager for 16 years at Silver Pines in North Smithfield.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trips to the casino and most of all spending time with his beautiful wife and family.

He is survived by his children, Robert A. Valenti, Jr., Angela Bouchard, Rita Cerra and Dina Fleury also five grandchildren, Alanna Valenti, Colin and Cyle Fleury, James Holland and Andrea Cerra and one great-grandchild, Gunnar Holland.

He also leaves behind his siblings, Thomas Valenti and Dolores Valenti Ferraro.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI.

Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM. Funeral from the funeral home at 9:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Harrisville Main St. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI.
