Roger A. Bois, Jr.

Roger A. Bois, Jr., 71, of North Smithfield, RI passed away on March 25, 2026. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Roger A. Bois, Sr. and Estelle (Keller) Bois, and the beloved husband of the late Donna (Chamberland) Bois. Roger worked for Denault’s Auto Repair and was the proud owner of Bois Transmission. Roger and Donna spent many years in their North Smithfield home, where they loved gardening, having cookouts, and spending time with family and friends. Rogers first love was Donna and his second was fishing. He was an incredible cook and an amazing gardener. He loved playing the guitar and was known for making up songs in the moment, about anything. Roger was often the life of the party, anyone who knew him has a story — and probably more than one. Roger loved making people laugh, and his memory will continue to bring smiles and laughter to those who knew him best. He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Bois and her wife Kathryn and his son, Kevin Bois and his wife Amy. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Amber Lynn Bois; Alyssa and Kelsey Fortier; Kyle, Karyssa, and Lucas Bois and Adriana Boss. Also his great-grandchildren, Madilyn, Jayden, and Zayden Bois. He is also survived by his sisters, Jeannie Arsenault and Shirley Hayward and sister-in-law, Gail Bois and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Roger was predeceased by his siblings Joe, Arthur, Edward, Liz, and Patrica. Calling hours will be held Monday, April 13, 2026, from 4 PM until 7 PM in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville, North Smithfield. A Committal Service will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 11 AM in St. John’s Cemetery in Slatersville.
