Roger Leo Coutu

Roger L. Coutu, 59, of Woonsocket, RI passed away on July 21, 2024, at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket with loved ones by his side. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Therese Gerlache.

He worked as a builder in the construction field and was very handy with wood. You could put a piece of wood in his hands and he could make anything. He loved working on cars and his and his greatest joy was riding his motorcycle.

Roger is survived by his longtime companion, Nancy Lanagan and former wife, Deanna Coutu and her partner Marc and his children, Amanda, Macias and Andrew Coutu, three grandchildren, Mateo, Alejandro and Mariana, also his siblings, Janet Kenyon and Steven Calo and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Calo.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 4 – 7:00 PM immediately followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.
