Roland F. Clang, Sr.

Roland F. Clang, Sr., 70, of Burrillville, RI passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at The Miriam Hospital in Providence. Born in Putnam, CT, he was one of five children of the late Leo and Beatrice (Aubin) Clang. He was the loving husband of the late Shirley (Nadeau) Clang.

Roland worked for Camger Chemical Systems in Norfolk, MA for many years.

He enjoyed trips to the casino, eating out and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Roland F. Clang, Jr., Anthony Clang, Jeffrey Clang, and Jason Freund.

He also leaves behind his seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his children, Calvin and April Freund.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023, from 2 - 4:00 PM and 6 - 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, August 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Pascoag, RI.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Roland to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
