Rose Theresa (Mathieu) Jolly

Rose Theresa Jolly, 94, of Glendale, passed away on April 28, 2018, at Landmark Medical Center. Born in Nasonville, daughter of the late Joseph and Roseanna (Courtemanche) Mathieu.

Rose enjoyed reading, bird watching, camping, fishing, traveling, sewing and quilting. Her greatest and most loving attribute was the loving homemaker that she was to her family.

Rose retired from Hanora Spinning in Woonsocket. She was greatly loved by her family. She is survived by Russell Jolly, her three children, Pauline Jolly, Linda Jolly of Georgia and Karen Wood of Glendale. Her grandchildren Jessica, Katie and Mathieu Wood and her great grandsons, Austin and Brennan Beauregard. She also leaves behind her son-in-law, Alan Wood and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Wilfred Mathieu, Joseph his wife Joan (Barry) Mathieu and sister-in-law Constance (Jolly) Laprise.

Her funeral will be held, Saturday at 10 AM in the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Highway, Oakland with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in St. Theresa’s Church, Nasonville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday, from 4-8 PM.
