Rosemary Dandeneau, 87, of Burrillville, RI passed away on September 28, 2021, surrounded by family. She was born in 1934 a daughter of the late James and Catherine Dinagen.
She is survived by her husband, Jacques Dandeneau. The couple were married in 1954 in full military dress at St Joseph’s Church in Pascoag while Jacques was still serving in the United States Marine Corps. In May 2021 they celebrated 67 wonderful years together.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Bernard and James as well as her sister, Kathleen. She lived in Pascoag, RI and as a youth she attended Burrillville High School.
Rosemary worked primarily as a paralegal for most of her career and was a stay-at-home mom when the children were young.
She is also survived by a daughter, Kathleen (Dandeneau) Dias, widow of David W. Dias also of Burrillville, and two sons, James (wife Deborah) and Timothy (wife Jayme) Dandeneau.
Rosemary had 6 grandchildren, Amy Laven, Jill Hoffman (husband Nate), Lauren Kantorski, (husband Jonathan) Ryan Dandeneau (wife Sarah) and Grace and Emma Dandeneau. She also leaves behind 7 great-grandchildren, Braden and Cooper Laven, Bowe and Wyatt Hoffman, Audrey and Ella Kantorski and James Ryan Dandeneau.
In her retirement she liked to knit and mostly spend time with family and friends. She was a great person who always placed the interest of family first. Her loving spirit and positive attitude will be sorely missed by family and friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, Oakland, RI. At the request of family, there will be no calling hours and a private funeral and burial in Pascoag, RI.
