Sadie E (Cook) Bowman

Sadie E. Bowman, 94, of North Smithfield, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the Oakland Grove Health Center, in Woonsocket.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter to the late Frederick and Mary Ann (Barlow) Cook.

Sadie was the loving wife of 50 years to the late Raymond  Bowman, who was the love of her life.  She was a graduate of Central High School in Providence and has lived in North Smithfield since 1978.

She is survived by her daughter, Janis Morin and her grandson, Robert Morin with whom she lived and exceptionally cared for her.  Also, great grandchildren, Sarah Morin and Robert Morin, Jr.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 29, 2018, from 4-5 PM in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Road, North Smithfield.  Burial at the RI Veterans Cemetery will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Sadie’s honor can be made to: Amedisys Foundation, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI, 02914.
