Shirley (Smith) Sweeney

Shirley Sweeney (Smith), 60, of Harrisville, RI passed away on May 16, 2024 at her home. Born in (Warwick) she was the daughter of Kenneth and Sheila (Greene) Smith. 

Shirley was a loving homemaker. Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren, her family meant everything to her. 

She is survived by her children, Kerry Benoit, Nick and Bryan Sweeney and her grandchildren, Cody, Isabella, Madisyn, and Brody.

She also leaves behind her siblings, Michael Smith and Melissa Smith.

She was preceded in death by her brother Kenny Smith.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, RI.

Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. A Service will be held in the funeral home at 6:30 PM immediately following calling hours. Burial will respectfully be held private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Shirley can be made to the American Lung Association.
