Stella (Koperniuk) Phillips

Stella Phillips, 93, of Lincoln, RI, passed away on April 20, 2019, at the Holiday Retirement Home. She was the beloved wife of the late J. Wendell Phillips. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Moysey & Ksenia (Hruazka) Koperniuk. Stella worked for the Woonsocket Harris Public Library, retiring years ago. Stella was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children, Peter Phillips of Woonsocket, Linda Lafleur and her husband James of West Greenwich, Gail Gobeille and her husband David of Cumberland and Wendy Fernandes and her husband Steve of Woonsocket, grandchildren, Beth Foley, Amy and Alex Phillips and Jamie Morgan. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, Evan and Mila Foley, Kehlan and Paxton Morgan. She was preceded in death by her brother, Peter Koperniuk and her sister, Mary Teper. Funeral services and burial will be private, Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield.
