Therese E. "Terri" Tatro, 62, of Pascoag, RI passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on February 21, 2020, at her residence. She was the wife of 46 years to Donald "Ducky" Tatro. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Felix & Therese (Dominque) Palumbo. She worked for Bernardo Manufacturing in East Providence, retiring in 2013 because of her illness. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Terri loved spending time cooking for her family, she especially loved camping and going digging quahogs so she could make her famous chowder. Besides her husband she is survived by her son, Robert Tatro of Pascoag, grandchildren, Mackenzie Reilly, Zachary and Travis Duquette, siblings, Debbie Presbrey and her husband Glen of Mapleville, John Palumbo and his wife Lynn of Hudson, MA, Frank Palumbo and his wife Debbie of Cranston and Steve Palumbo and his companion Rena of Harrisville and son in law Michael Duquette of Pascoag. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and her Grand Doggers, Diamond and Willow. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacy Duquette and her brother Michael Palumbo. Calling hours will be held Friday from 2-4 PM in the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI. Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help offset medical expenses.
