Thomas Gaboriault Obituary
Thomas W. Gaboriault, 79, of North Smithfield, RI passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2024 surrounded by his wife and family. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Wilfrid and Annie (Ainsworth) Gaboriault. He was the loving husband of 57 years to Claire (Berard) Gaboriault.
Thomas was a proud Veteran of the United States Airforce having served during the Vietnam War. During his time in the military Thomas worked as an aircraft mechanic. He was later self-employed working with Danny’s Motor Sales. He could often be found cutting and splitting wood and. He was an avid hunter and trapper and enjoyed gardening, shopping and cooking. He was a member of the American Legion Fairmount (Post 85).
Besides his wife Claire, he is survived by his children, Christine and wife Jennifer, Thomas Gaboriault, Jr. and wife Ana, Lorie Bernier and husband Paul, Donna LeMay and husband Thomas. Also thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He also leaves behind his siblings, Wilfrid Gaboriault and Nancy George.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield.
Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM. Burial will be private.
