Veronica S. Cosetta (Rinfrette), 81, of Mapleville, RI passed away on August 20, 2024 at the Miriam Hospital in Providence. Born in Douglas MA, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Sophie (Makowski) Rinfrette. She was the loving wife of 60 years to Michael J. Cosetta.
She received her associate’s degree from the Community College of Rhode Island. Veronica was a dedicated wife and mother who took great pride in being a homemaker. She also helped with the administrative duties of the family operated MJC Chimney Sweeps business.
In her earlier years, she took photography classes and enjoyed taking aerial photos in particular. She enjoyed gardening, the wildlife around her home and looking after her cats. She was a member of PETA and had a great interest in researching and learning more about her genealogy and her Polish heritage.
Besides her loving husband, Michael, she is survived by a son, Robert Cosetta.
She also leaves behind her brother, Lawrence Rinfrette and nephews, John, Jeffrey and James Rinfrette.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland.
Calling Hours will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Funeral will be held at 9:00 AM on August 26, 2024 from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Help, Victory Hwy., Mapleville. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Emerson Road, Harrisville.
