Vincent D. LaScola, 54, of Harrisville, RI passed away peacefully on June 25, 2024, at HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care in Providence with family by his side. Born in Pawtucket, RI, he was the son of Shirley Bertsch (LaScola) and the late Lawrence LaScola.
Vincent worked as a mechanic at George’s Auto Repair in Mapleville. He loved NASCAR and building and racing his own remote-controlled cars.
Besides his mother, Shirley LaScola, he is survived by his siblings, Julie Finlay, Valerie and Alicia LaScola.
He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Catherina LaScola-Sparrow.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
