Obituary
Walda M.“Wally” Brady, 87, of Woonsocket, RI passed away on June 30, 2023, at Hope Hospice Palliative Care Center in Providence with her family by her side. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Zanetti) Daniels. She was the former wife of Richard J Brady.
She worked for local area textile manufacturers and later also worked as a secretary for the former Fogarty Memorial Hospital in North Smithfield. Wally was a lover of animals, especially cats and horses. She owned and rode horses for many years.
She is survived by her children, Patricia “Pat” Salone and her husband Denis Marchand and her son, Scott Brady also two grandchildren, Mary Schmidt and her husband Michael and Ellen Salone and her partner, Robert Piskac and two great-grandchildren, Esther Marie Schmidt and Norah Josephine Schmidt.
She also leaves behind her brother, Walter Daniels.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI.
Service details have been respectfully omitted. Burial in Union Cemetery in North Smithfield will be private.
