Walter "Sonny" A. Landry

Walter A. Landry, “Sonny,” 85, of Burrillville, RI passed away on June 21, 2022, at the Milford Regional Health Center.  Born in Blackstone, MA, he was the son of the late Walter and Theresa (Ciccone) Landry.

He was the loving husband of 50 years to Marilyn (Thayer) Landry.

He worked for the Harmony Hills School Department in maintenance prior to retirement.

Besides his wife Marilyn, he leaves behind his daughter, Sylvia wife of Scott Dunster and a son, Kenneth Landy.

He was the loving grandfather of eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sisters, Rose Gilson and Carol Landry.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Arlene Fenner and Joanne Laferriere.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 6 – 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Pascoag Cemetery.
